Panera Bread
Senior UX Designer | March 2022 – Present
Lead research, retention, and e-commerce strategy for menu and merchandise, along with Unlimited Sip Club and MyPanera loyalty and subscription programs across all platforms (native apps, web, and in-store kiosks). Grew program to over one million subscribers in just under a year, and introduced in-app challenges to further gamify the purchasing experience and increase customer retention. Lead designer for digital menu overhaul work – designed assets, planned testing and nine day sprint cadences for entire UX team. Received Digital Impact award from Usertesting.com for research on Panera catering website in 2023. Mapping and facilitating workshops to increase collaboration opportunities across the company. Holding biweekly meetings with other members of the design team as well as product partners. Mentoring youngest members of design team.

Worked cross-functionally with product, development, and digital leadership for off-premise and recovery channels. Updated design system for implementation across all digital platforms. Awarded second place in company hackathon for delivery slotting concept that would reduce driver emissions and wait times, creating over a million dollars in savings.

Designed core curriculum and taught Film & Animation, Design Thinking, and Meaning & Media classes for all grade and experience levels. Doubled number of students in all programs after one year. Introduced STEM design and rapid prototyping to 90 freshmen through semesterly Pinewood Derby event. Produced films highlighting Blair culture for Admissions and Communications offices. Managed 15 student filmmakers who produced related campus-wide projects, events, and publications.
